Following the Recommended Brewing Ratio
Our brewing ratio is actually a standard set for all gourmet blends by the Specialty Coffee Association of America, recommending 2.5 tablespoons of grinds to every 6 ounces of water to really achieve that bold, flavorful and highly caffeinated cup you are looking for. We promise you that this ratio will give you the best representation of our blends when brewing! Of course, you should always adjust accordingly to your preference.

I also like to bring up that you could use a larger ratio of grinds with normal coffees, too. This would make the coffee stronger, but it may taste pretty off-putting and bitter. Our blend is crafted to be strong, smooth, and flavorful at its recommended ratio.
We understand that the SCAA hasn’t necessarily adjusted the brewing ratio to all brewing methods. If you’re brewing with an automatic-drip coffee maker, we recommend using the 4-cup setting on your machine and using about 8-10 tbsp. of coffee grinds.
